As predicted, Messy Games stepped up a gear - it was quite obvious that Andy was back with us today! The rain couldn't stop the somewhat reluctant volunteers devouring chocolate mousse from (clean!) nappies as quickly as they could. Still undeterred, more volunteers then drank an entire can of Coke through the sock of one of their team-mates... some people never learn!
Buckingham's Got Talent turned an interesting corner. After Simeon and Piers fell out yesterday, it was Amanda's turn to lash out, throwing her drink all over Simeon before storming off set. What caused the uproar was Simeon's response to the third of the three acts we saw today which appeared to hit a raw nerve with Amanda. What will tomorrow bring, I wonder? Voting for the acts started today, with the online poll open until tomorrow morning. You'll see the options on the left of this page. Vote for your favourite act, but note that you can only vote once! More acts tomorrow, hopefully.
Today's group time was spent looking at the lives of Abraham and Sarah and seeing how God's plans for them were worked out. In spite of their ages (Abraham was nearly 100 years old and Sarah over 90) God's promise that they would have a son came true and Isaac was the fulfilment of that promise. Sometimes God's plans for us don't always fit with our own, as Sarah found out.
One last thing... check out the gallery and see what we've been getting up to. There are a few shots of the cool set and the BGT acts as well, just to remind you who you're voting for.
