'Where dreams come true?' kicked off with the usual mix of fun and laughter at Venue 2 (Royal Latin School) and Pete started as I'm sure the week will continue with the messiest of games involving shaving foam and Cheerios. Quite how you get that much foam out of your hair I'm sure I'll never know!
As with last year, the children are doing a variety of crafts including making clocks, painting a mural and creating video documentaries. Each day will have something different to look forward to.
Today we learned about Zacchaeus' visit from Jesus and how it completely changed his life. We considered how meeting Jesus would change our lives too and whether the plans (dreams) we have for our lives would be changed as a result.
The search began for the star of 'Buckingham's Got Talent'. Simeon Cower showed us his prowess with a 'magic act' but I don't think anyone was fooled... certainly not Piers Morfun or Amanda Holdup. I sense some friction between the judges already. We'll have to wait and see how this one develops. In the mean time we're looking for acts, so if you fancy yourself as a budding starlet let Debs Last know and get signed up!
